Hi, I'm Walter N and I have been a home carer for over 8 years. I am a caring and friendly person who is always willing to lend a helping hand. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. In my experience, I have seen first-hand how a little assistance can go a long way in improving the quality of life for those in need.
As a carer, I am skilled in providing hourly and overnight care. I am proficient in a variety of care types, including bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. I have experience working with individuals with mild cognitive impairment, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, and orthopaedic injuries/broken bones.
I enjoy doing puzzles, practicing yoga, socializing with friends, reading, and listening to music in my free time. I am also comfortable around pets, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds.
